Important Notes on Field Usage
- West Lincoln Way and Collins Park are exclusively youth fields. No Adult Practice
- Any team in any association may use all other fields.
- A practicing “foreign” team must yield the field immediately to any team from that field’s designated association.
- Violations of practice guidelines will lead to denial of playing privileges to offending team.
- Each team is responsible for picking up all its trash after all games and practices.
- For additional fields in Kearney download this map from the Kearney Park & Recreation Department.
Batting Cage
The Kearney Little League batting cage is located on the south side of Dryden Park and was built with the help of Keno funds and other fundraising efforts.
The batting cage is equipped with two full length, netted cages, both with pitching machines.
Due to the number of teams that use the batting cage, each team is limited to one ninety-minute session per week.
Coaches wishing to schedule timeslots for the batting cage should refer to their Coach’s Handbook for additional rules and scheduling instructions.
Indoor Hitting Facility
Kearney Little League is a proud donor in the development of the new indoor hitting facility built at Memorial Field. With UNK being the primary tenant, Kearney Little League and the Kearney Legion program will both be allowed access to the facility. We will update the site with new information as it becomes available.
